The Nashua Board of Education Budget Committee will initiate its budget development process on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, when Dr. Andrade presents a recommended operating budget for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. 

Here is a schedule of upcoming budget committee meetings. Each meeting starts at 6:00 pm in the boardroom at Nashua High School North:

• Tuesday, March 11: overview of operating budget; presentations from all departments: Athletics, ELL, Special Education, Technology, Plant Operations, and Curriculum
• Saturday, March 15 (10:00 am): deep dive into the budget details and the major focus areas/priorities
• Monday, March 31: follow up on questions and determination of final budget
• Wednesday, April 2: public hearing for comment on the proposed operating budget followed by a Special BOE meeting for budget approval (if needed)

Mayor James Donchess issued budget guidelines last month for each division in the City of Nashua, including the Nashua School District. Please click here to read his memorandum, asking all divisions to adhere to a 3% increase in operating budget requests.
