• The Nashua School District offers three options for pre-kindergarten education for our youngest Nashua residents. Please use the contact information listed in each of the programs if you have questions regarding registration. The online registration is not available for preschool at this time.

    NEEP - Nashua Early Education Program - Playpals

    The Nashua Early Education Program provides referral services for families as well as an integrated preschool program for children ages three to five. Play Pals, the blended preschool program, integrates children who have been identified with special needs and children who are developing at a typical and expected rate.

    Play Pals offers a developmental learning approach where typically developing children along with children with special needs come together to learn and play, and to grow socially and emotionally, cognitively, physically, verbally, and to become more independent and better prepared for kindergarten.

    • Play Pals follows the Nashua school closings on school vacations, holidays and inclement weather
    • There is no school on Early Release Days
    • Students attend 2.5 hours per day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from September through June
    • 3-year olds attend in the morning and 4-year olds attend in the afternoon
    • Students must be 3 or 4 by September 30th
    • Tuition is $180/month
    • Families may apply for free or reduced tuition if household income is within Federal USDOA guidelines. 
    • $25 non-refundable registration fee is required 

     

    Play Pals is a structured play-based program providing children the opportunity to develop and grow in the following skill areas:

    • social/emotional, congnitive, language, fine and gross motor, and self-help

    Purple Panther Preschool

    The Purple Panther Preschool has created an exciting, hands-on program offering developmentally appropriate curriculum in an inclusionary model classroom created for 3 and 4 year old children. We are recognized for our low child to teacher ratios, as well as a program that has experienced educators, which provides a real life practicum site for high school students who are enrolled in the "Careers in Education" program through the Nashua Technology Center. Conveniently located at Nashua High School South, we offer half-day and low tuition rates in our programs. Interested in more information?

    Title 1 Preschool

    The Title 1 Preschool is a free program for families who live within a Title 1 school attendance area. Children must be 4 years of age by September 30, 2024. This is a 5 day a week program and runs for 3.5 hours. The five Title 1 schools are - Amherst Street Elementary, Dr. Norman W. Crisp Elementary, Fairgrounds Elementary, Ledge Street Elementary, Mt. Pleasant Elementary and Sunset Heights.

    Title 1 is located at 390 Broad Street, Office E4, in the Broad Street Elementary School. Bus transportation is not provided.
